The curriculum’s structure is organ-system-based, preceded by a foundations block in which students are taught the discipline-based sciences underlying the organ systems. Phase 3

Clinical Rotations In Manipal’s AUA Affiliated Teaching Hospitals Across US/UK/Canada

Students then complete the Clinical Sciences curriculum at any of the AUA-affiliated teaching hospitals, where they learn from residents and attending physicians to treat patients as part of a hospital team and interact directly with patients. During AUA’s Clinical Sciences curriculum, students continue to develop clinical and communication skills in all areas of patient care under the direction of the medical faculty at teaching hospitals in a patient-centred environment. Core and elective rotations are conducted at these affiliated teaching hospitals, most of which are affiliated with US medical schools. *Students can opt to do up to 4-8 weeks of electives in UK/Canada/India.

After completing clinicals, students officially graduate as doctors from American University of Antigua and then begin to apply for residency positions in USA, UK or Canada, depending on their preference.
